Free IoT workshop day Saturday 30th January 2016

Another bump for this excellent, and free-one-time-only workshop. Three places still up for grabs.

We still have 2 places left for this excellent opportunity.

Greg is a highly experienced teacher, and has worked a lot with the Technology Will Save Us guys.

I’ll open it to non members if there aren’t any takers.

I will probably come but I can’t be sure…

Bump…there are now 3 places left.

Great opportunity to get down and dirty with the Internet of Things! And this-time-only it’s free.

@marketing I’ve just FB’d about this. Hope that’s okay?

What should the etiquette be in future? We don’t want clashes…

Yeah @ marketing and say ā€œpromote my event pleaseā€

Yes, but we aren’t expecting them to write every bit of copy or press release?

So in future, for example, we’ll send over what @ events needs to get out and how imperative we think it is, and leave it to @ marketing to approve and schedule. And also maybe they’ll do a bit of badgering for content now and then. And vice versa.

BTW. Let’s use this IoT day as a trial.

I would have thought that people running events need to have scope for Tweeting™ etc©? Are we Instagram ready?

Sorry Dermot.

Reluctantly removing my name from this. Kitchen being torn out Monday and I need to/ am under orders to spend the weekend preparing. :frowning:

Thanks for letting me know.

This is now looking seriously undersubscribed. I’ve FB’d it and Tweeted. Any ideas @marketing ?

Sorry :frowning:

Hey,

I can’t edit the post. maybe because I’m not a member yet. Can I take a place for this workshop?

@German_S I’ve added you to the list - I don’t believe being a member is a prerequisite for attending this one.

3 posts were split to a new topic: How could / should the marketing role help promote events?

One space left on this for tomorrow, if anyone wants to take it?

@pip we’ve started!

On my way, slept in like a teenage school boy, profuse apologies, be about twenty mins
