Do we have some black, and either natural or transparent filament available for the Ultimaker? If not I’ll buy some.

I could come over tomorrow and test the ultimaker on 1.75mm filament to see how it handles it. Probably best that we move towards 1.75mm, lots more options and seems like a 20% discount compared to the 2.85 variants.

Welp, got to abort mission on the switch to 1.75mm filament because it doesn’t work well on the Ultimaker. The extruder gears stop just a tad too far apart to grab onto the 1.75mm filament, so it doesn’t extrude properly. We might be able to make it work with some careful cuts into the mechanism so the gears can move a bit further… But I’m not keen to try that.
In any case we can always use 1.75mm PLA filament with the dreamer, so no problem if you already bought some.
On a side note, I brought some rock white PETG for the Flashforge Dreamer.
