I have just purchased these abrasive pads for £10.50. There are 4 different grits from 180 to 800.
This is a great price so I thought I would let it be known. The price reduction is part of the sale so you need to purchase before midnight.
I have used this kind of thing before and it is excellent for rubbing out finish. I prefer it to steel wool because it is cleaner and there is no chance of reaction with tannins.
It can be rinsed, dried and reused.
It is also great for applying wax and it lasts longer than a piece of steel wool. It can be left in the tin of wax.
It is flexible, so it is perfect for wood turning as it perfectly matches the smallest radii, unlike abrasive paper.
I can even attach this product to my Makita finish sander. Lots of uses, lots of options.
