I tend to try to make things as easy as possible for my prints. I have really bad memories of what happens when 3d printing goes wrong.

That was the day I learned to double check that you have the right filament selected in your slicer, and not just start a 10 hour print and immediately go to bed. The blob, with the hot end still trapped inside of it lives on a shelf in our living room now looking like a mini version of the elephant foot at Chernobyl.
