I remember seeing a few of these around from the festival, are there any still going? Happy to make a donation to the space / whoever paid for the parts
Hi Sean,
Yes, I have a few kits still, let me know next time you’re going to be around and I can let you have one of them.
I assume you’ll also need to be shown how to build. it as well? There are no instructions, you could just use the one on the shelf near the kitchen as a guide but there is also a sort of sequence to it otherwise can be a bit tricky to connect some of the parts.
The cost was a voluntary donation of £5 on the day…
Ah nice, I’m going to try to come in tomorrow afternoon and finish off those shelves.
I reckon I’ll just take a go at building it blind, I like a challenge.
Well, you could give it a go but it’s hardly all that obvious, it’s not an official kit or anything…
The main issue with doing it blind is that the cardboard is not very tolerant of re-do’s. Some parts will break if you undo and redo them.
Steve, before you give out the last kit, could you take a knolling photo?
Yeah, no worries, and now I also know what ‘knolling’ means
I won’t give out the last kit, I think we need to keep at least one for reference…
Ah okay, I’ll wait until someone’s around to give a few pointers before I start putting it together cheers
Well… that will be either me or Brendon but actually the final sequence that worked pretty well on the day is in my head
