I found this absolute bargain whilst randomly looking through the Turner’s retreat website. I thought I should mention it for anyone who turns.
I have always thought it would be nice to make wooden light pulls, this is a great drive centre for such things. I also figured that turning small is comparable to making boxes. It is possible to get a lot of technique in a small space. As I am a novice I will be able to practice my cuts, quickly, due to the small scale of light pulls etc. The outside diameter is 8mm. Not strictly a drive for light pulls but I don’t think it matters if there are tooth marks in the hole which takes the knot. Anyway I will find out! Cheaper than a light pull drive and it is a top quality piece of kit for a fiver.
