The big CNC joystick is a bit unstable… Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, sometimes it prefer one usb port over another… I think it’s failing but I couldn’t figure out why ( last time I ended up moving the machine with the keyboard)
Any ideas?

I believe its the z engage button is a little fiddly but the rest should do alright. What were you seeing?

What do you mean? The keyboard worked, the joystick didn’t. That’s all. I assume it’s the hardware. Cables and such.
Wasn’t clear what the failure mode was. So none of the axes moved via the shuttle controller when it wasn’t working, right?
The controller didn’t work. Yes.
Thank you for confirming all three axes were affected.
@kyle the first it worked, the second time ( with Petra) it did, then it didn’t, then it did again after unplugging and plugging it back in a different usb… the third time ( Thursday) it didn’t.
In my opinion is the usb plug…
Usually I need to press the X very hard, otherwise it has worked fine. Will check it out tomorrow or monday and see if it needs repairs…
