Ok, wp-discourse had been deactivated at some point. It’s reactivated now. Don’t forget to set this on your post:

More fun.

Editing the blog page did not create the Discourse thread. Moved to bin, recreated. Now have “Comments are not currently available for this post.” on the bottom of the blog post – progress – but still no Discourse thread.

Also, do we really want the blog category? Shouldn’t it just go in ‘Discussion’?

Boom. Though, I swear I chose the Events category and it’s published it in the blog category.
