Cutting Curvey glass

I have a project in mind that would be better if I can cut curves into glass. I can adjust scale if I need to based on the size of the tools we have just wanted to know if anyone knew of a method for cutting the curves instead of cutting glass in a straight line

The mini cnc can ( it depends how big the glass is and the thickness). We don’t have glass tools at the moment, but it’s possible

by tools do you mean glass cutting bits for the CNC? I can make that happen if needed. Would the big CNC also be able to do it? (so I can know options I don’t really have a plan yet)

Yes for the tool.
For the big cnc, yes again in theory. We never tested for the glass dust extraction, we can try

Cool I will have a talk next time I am in. This isn’t a rush project just wanted to have an idea

To be clear, we’ve never tried to cut glass on the mini cnc as well, so we need to experiment a bit.

Let’s discuss next time.

Yea it should work (on either) with the right tooling, even the Isel manual mentions glass…

Would be cool to test it out!

I get it, my whole project is for fun so will start small and see how it goes

If they are still there… Save the glass near arch 2 entrance, so we ca use them for testing

Diamond burr, 1 IPM (in/min), side milling only. Needs lots of lubrication.

I was thinking of rotary scoring head bit no lubrication
