The action as it happened - @rosszeibari addressing the Addressable LED strip and @Courty about to sneeze while working on 3D printer display install.
What a great night. Lots going on, stuff fixed, tinkering with tech and some good banter to boot. If I can find the video of the addressable LED’s running flat out I’ll post it. They look very cool when they are swapping full colour palettes (will show you that next time )

@Courty thanks for bringing your electronics box down last night. Playing around with the addressable LEDs / Arduino was a great way for me to get back into programming after many many years away. Good memories of my uni times came to me last night too, so thanks.
@dsikar thanks for your enthusiasm and skill with the Arduino, you made a fun time for us all last night and getting leds to turn red and move side to side like NIGHT RIDER has to been one boyhood dream fulfilled haha

Guys do we have a PIR sensor down the space or perhaps in @Courty 's box of tricks?
I wouldnt mind playing around with setting off an LED strip with the sensor. I saw a project on instructables which triggers but only when its dark.

Would also be interesting to see and understand other electronics projects that other members may be running.
@rosszeibari - of course I’ve got some big one or small one ? What distance are you looking to detect over ?
