End grain sealant

Do we have any end grain sealant, to seal up fresh cut green wood before it’s turned?

Or we’ve got Chestnut Cellulose Sanding Sealer, and Melamine Lacquer if anyone knows if either of those will that do the job?

hi Ben, we don’t have that, but I am placing an order for some wood lathe stuff, can just add that bit on. Would arrive sometime mid next week. some people use titebond, might give that a go too in the meantime.

Or melt a candle !

was quite a big area, that many candles would’ve looked like I was staging some sort of ritual. Went with the glue labelled ‘pants’.
