Looking for volunteers for a trial for the Festool Domino induction ,

Requirements.

You Must have done the Basic woodshop induction

You must have a project ready to go using sheet materials, Ply/mdf/wood, furniture boards, solid wood .
Please reply to this post stating project details. size and type of materials you will be bringing and dates you will be available to attend with your materials.

with the grain is much easier than end grain.

I volunteer! Making a small table, want to make mortice/tenons for legs, apron and middle shelf, and biscuit join the tabletop. Tabletop is 20mm thick, about 250*600mm wide/deep. Legs are 40mm square. Apron/shelving cross-pieces are 10mm thick, 40mm wide. Hardwood. Dates/times which work for me:

  • Sunday 5 Feb from 5:30pm
  • Monday 6 Feb from 5pm
  • Monday 13 Feb from 5pm
  • Tuesday 14 Feb from 5pm

@lewisss demonstrated the Domino system to me yesterday; it’s an impressive, fabulous tool. Get those projects ready that need any kind of joint - boxes, chests, furniture, worktops!
