Just a heads up, Please dont throw away any Bambu branded filament spools that are used with the X1. These are designed to be re-useable and the refills are cheaper than the full spools.
I haven’t been down the space but I hope the starter spool was kept as I will order a refill for it. could someone have look for me please? I am going to order some new filament in shortly specifically to run on the Bambu.
Great I will order one full spool and one top up spool. Have people been using it much? I only see one or two bookings so far.
I will try and get as many people familiar with it as quickly as possible. If people have some images of the prints they are getting off it as well would be great to get some in house reviews to make sure its was worth the purchase!
No,sunlu PLA+ ( bamboo are expensive! )
Yes, I know of the induction. I’m planning to use the flashforge ( do you need it?) until the induction is finished and then the bamboo… So if you see me around the area watching over you during the induction… No pressure i just want you to finish as soon as possible
Shouldn’t be an issue once we get it in its final spot as we will make a spot fro spare spools. It is mentioned in the walkthrough for the Bambu as well. More worried about the first one as it was more likely to be seen out in the open and binned.
OK. if your pieces are quick prints, I can run them off as demo prints for the system maybe? Bring a version sliced with Bambu filament and one sliced with generic as I will do the intro with the Bambu filament so show its full speed.
I can prepare them for both printers and run a side by side comparison, but my prints are at least 30 minutes for the fastest on the bamboo, ( (unless you have magic settings on your sleeves)
