Foamboard for laser cut

Hi guys,

I’d need your help to understand if i can laser cut foamboards:

Not lots of information about the material… I can say from the description it’s PS (polystyrene).

Polyurethane foam is fine for the laser and commonly used in some foam board brands. Trotec even had their own version at one stage.
After investigation it appears that Polystyrene based boards are not recommended and are a large cause for laser fires as the material often melts when cutting and is highly likely to catch fire.
