Got the SLA printer, can anyone help me setup the table and extractor for it?

I just got the resin printer because I function on a strict impulse buying diet. Could someone help me with a car to carry the 2 boxes + accessories to the space? More importantly we need a table, space to place a table and need to make a fume extractor.

At the space layout meeting on Monday we just voted yay for extra space for 3D printing but I don’t know where they’re supposed to go exactly. I think some people had a plan in mind for the new space layout.

I’m not a woodworker but I’d be happy to help with the build.

Also we need a risk assessment done. I’ve got a decent idea of the risks involved, but need help to make the formal post for it.

Great, thanks @Calin - lots of excitement around this!

I can help get it there, maybe Friday? remind me where from…

As for the exact home for it - we now know what we want to fit in the space, so we need to lay it all out and see how we can fit it all - I see this getting done in the next 2 weeks. For now I am sure we can find a temp. home for it…

Take a look at these risk assessments for examples:

Bit late notice but I can do this evening, or possibly tomorrow day time if that helps?

Still a bit busy today and waiting for a couple more packages. We can grab the big boxes tomorrow (Friday), I’m in Bromley South area.

Close the stopcocks of the taps in the spraybooth, and put a table there, thats closed with extraction. Or the table next to the welding bay ? will need to cover it pull strong plastic bags and cover them with canvas when not in use to protect them from metalworks dust, and keep that welding curtain closed, when metal area is used?

Here’s some answers  https://discourse.southlondonmakerspace.org/t/can-i-setup-sla-printing-and-resin-casting-vacuum-chamber/24015/5

Is there a spray booth now installed?

The tap area next to the laser cutter doubles as one, there is extraction in there and the plastic curtain is covering the door. A more suitable one is part of the plan.

@vincea helped me get the printer and cure station to the space. I dropped them below the FDM printers until we figure out the location
