Really pleased to of found this place, Ive done a number of courses in metal and wood work so really happy to have found a place where these can be applied. Does anyone know what the lead time is from submitting the membership form to actually becoming a member? Super keen to get going!

Welcome, as far as I am aware, we currently have no “waitinglist” - and a couple of free spots, so it should happen fairly soon! 
Sounds like you will fit right in! If you’re available next Thursday, you could come to Electronics Night (starts usually around 7pm till late) which is open to members and non-members alike. Any member will be happy to give you an impromptu tour of the Makerspace and you can get a feel for how things run.
Otherwise, every other Wednesday is Open Evening. Next one will be November 2nd from 7pm-9pm. You’ll get the scenic tour of the Space and ask all things membership.
