My name is Benjamin Smith, just joined the discourse and I’ll be coming down to the open evening next week to take a look around with the end goal of joining at some point.
I currently have a Creality ender 3 Pro that hasn’t been used for about a year as I intend to upgrade to a resin printer as soon as I’ve got a decent ventilated space to put it in; just wondering if anyone would be interested in taking it off my hands? It definitely needs a clean and probably a tightening of belts/bolts along with recalibration. It’s been upgraded to the silent driver motherboard. I’ve also got a converted ikea box full of filament you’d be more than welcome to take with it. I’ve not powered it on for a while so I’ll get it out of storage and make sure it all works.
I’m down in Lewisham so if anyone would like to come and collect it please let me know (I could probably also bring it along on the open evening if it’s easier).
I don’t think we would have much use for this I’m afraid. I think if we took it we could use it as the basis of a experimental system so would probably break it down into something else.
What’s the best way to get this over to them? I’m happy to bring it along tonight if there is a space it can be left in. If not I’ll keep hold of it for the time being and arrange a collection or delivery.
The easiest might be if I pick it up from the space - it’s near where I live in Holloway… I could be in on Friday or Monday - would either of those days work for you?
