Hi I have just joined and am really looking forward to using the space (once I do the induction). I have taken a few introductory furniture making courses, and made some very basic things with hand tools at home. I am still very much a beginner, but I want to try making something a little bigger and hope the makerspace will enable me to do that. I look forward to meeting fellow makers! best peggy

Welcome to the space. I’m also interested in woodwork but havent got as much experience as you yet. The waiting list for inductions is going down so hopefully we will be in soon.

Hi Giles.
I most definitely would love to take some sharpening courses. I find it very frustrating and can spend a whole day sharpening chisel or plane and still struggle. I don’t know what I am doing wrong. So please do count me in. My problem is that I work fairly long hours during the week so really only have weekends. If that is possible I would love to take a few classes in sharpening!
