Hi I have just joined and am keen to get a couple of domestic projects made (a headboard for a bed and a structure to hold a lot of plants on a balcony). After that we’ll see where the muse takes me.
I work in the Art and Museum world, and have some historic experience of working in a commercial wood working shop (C25 years ago…!). I’ve also done picture framing, and am an occasional artist myself.
Once I’m familiar with the setup I’d be happy to help with Open days etc and am up for other jobs to help out the group.
Obviously the first stage for me is to get inducted in the wood workshop, can someone please advise what the latest is on that?
