Hi, I’m Jimbo (James is my real name but I cant think of many that use it!). I’ve just joined and set up my DD etc. and looking forward to getting involved at MSL!
I work in construction and sell bespoke joinery, recently got into a bit of wood carving and keen to do a bit more carpentry/furniture making aswell (girlfriend is sick of me making a mess at home) and be great to meet some fellow makers. I don’t have extensive experience making things from timber so likely to start on small bits here and there and build up my skills.
Really interested in learning to throw some bowls and cups on the lathe too!
