Hi there I’m Valerie and I attended the opening evening yesterday (Wednesday 16th Feb) and I thought I might as well introduce myself!

I currently work with textiles, foam and 3D printing , but overally I’m quite passionate with making costumes and props. Although I want to participate in anything that can achieve those two passions (which can be quite a range of activities) . I’m quite interested in getting into laser cutting, electronics and the CNC machine as well through this makerspace.

I wonder if there’s a need for more first aiders as I’m a volunteer first aider as part of the St John Ambulance (and also training to be a nurse).
