Hi, I just joined the waiting list so not a member yet, but would love to come use the space to work on making some basic animatronic mechanisms. I’m just starting out so keen to learn from others with experience too!

Hello @Catherine now that your a member come down to the space and collect your fob and activate it. Also I recommend you come down to the space just to spend time here and get to know everyone here and were everything is…there is so much. most importantly put yourself on the woodshop induction list and other induction list’s I hope to see you soon at the space and a big welcome to you.

Hi! I finally signed up as a member (and paid) and I’m excited to book some inductions. However for some reason I still can’t access links about Inductions here on discourse. I’ve tried logging out and then back in here, but when I click on this link - https://discourse.southlondonmakerspace.org/t/basic-wood-workshop-induction-list/19006/80 - for example, I still get the notification ‘Sorry, you don’t have access to that topic!’

Do I need to do something to get access?

Your access has to be upgraded manually so that you can access everything.
@welcome will sort that out for you.

You have now access to all members’ groups here on Discourse, including the Induction Waiting Lists. If you check your inbox here on discourse, you should have received a welcome message with the most important infos for the beginning.
