Hello I am Gabriel, a co-founder of ENVIENTA non profit association based in Spain and Hungary… Our goal is to create a decentralised manufacturing ecosystem where makerspaces around the world can participate and create a profit from low quantity production. I would like to speak to someone from you guys who can help me to understand the problems and needs of makerspaces. I am based in Surrey but I will be happy to buy you a coffee or a beer :slight_smile: and speak about solutions. Thank you

When/where’s best for you?

Weekdays, during the day is best for me and the earlier in the day the better.

Anywhere in or around London is fairly easy for me to get to.

Hi Gabriel,

I’ve had a quick browse of your site and I’m very interested.

There’s a few of us who work around sustainability and transition at the Makerspace, and there’s a strong ethos of reuse/repurpose generally.

One thing we’re not geared for is manufacturing. However it would be great to talk, and look at examples of where we might fit in to an exciting new landscape.

We’re also connected with other London workshops through Open Workshop Network and the wider hack/Makerspace world via Hackspace Foundation

If there are a few interested members we could organise a meeting at the Space sometime. Let’s see who else responds below.

Also very interested in the project and philosophy, with energy to invest in these types of schemes.
Would definitely turn up to a group meet at the space if I’m about.

Thank you Dermot, it will be very nice to talk about these things… Thank you for information you provided… The Open Workshop Network’s Google group looks like not exist… Hackspace Foundation looks great, it will be nice to talk with them but I cannot find a direct contact for a board or a leader… Can you help me with that? gabriel.varaljay@envienta.org Thank you

Open Workshop London – which we’re specifically involved with – is more of a chat group with a few meetups a year. I’m happy to share your link and request and email with them over on the WhatsApp group.
