🚣 I'm moving to Cambridge

Hi Guys,
I thought I should let you know, I’ve accepted a job in Cambridge so July will be my last month at SLMS :sob:.

Although it’s only been 6 months. It’s been brilliant. I wouldn’t have got this job without SLMS, especially the people in it. Maker spaces really are a massive asset to a community, not sure why they’re not talked about more on a national level.

I’ll keep in touch. And I’ll still be making as the role is Chief Technician at the Dyson Centre, a student maker space in Cambridge University Engineering Department . There’s a community maker space in Cambridge as well, but it’s £40 per month!

Let me know if you’ve got any questions about Cambridge. My family still live in London, so I’ll hopefully visit at Christmas.
Will

ps. I promise I’ll finish the SLMS reccomended laser cutting settings before I go!

Hi Will. Best of luck with the new job.
I am happy to work with you on the settings to either speed up the process or hand over so that it gets completed.
Let me know how to help.

Regards
Brendon
