There is some irony in the fact that she is building a structure to hold an adult and the use of a rope, especially in this dark times…but I will leave it there

She is fast… I too thought that.

What does running the iron over the edge of the ply do?

It’s a detail sander. I had to look twice to spot that. It does look like an iron.
She has lots of festool gear even a festool sanding block. Accurate functional tools are so utterly unusual now that you can charge what you like for them; all they do is what they are supposed to do. Madness.

D’oh! Thanks

A Festool sanding block…some very good standing you could do with that

Nitpicking here…I always feel cowboyish if I’m drilling a hole and circling the drill round?..and loved the way it locks around the top of the door, but what’s going on at floor level…and: hey, where’s that fire door gone (?)

drilling with a hole saw …the trick is to on the inside circumference of the diameter of the hole saw drill a couple of holes … this clears the dust which prevent binding, improves cutting as well as banishes (virtually) burn marks, pulsing the thrust also helps

God knows!
I have I think found my next project. Reitveld furniture, I have been looking at some of his designs and I really like them. He made children’s size versions of some of them which is interesting.
