I’ve had an issue with the mini cnc. Twice it’s stopped for me very close to the end. It just stops moving. Each time I’ve hit the estop, but it’s needing turning off at the wall to get it moving again. I’ve chatted to @frederico who was around. We believe it’s related to tool control. The second time it happened we weren’t able to sign out of tool control
Hmm, yea the relay in the tool control node was flakey at some point, if it hiccups at all then it stops the job, very annoying. We probably need to replace the relay in it…
I was lucky it was near the end both times and the parts are recoverable.
What @asander1 said - same has happens for me. I’m happy to solder a relay if it’s personnel we need. Who would I liaise with?
Probably best we look at it early next week - I installed the tool control on it, we may be able to delete the relay all together because we just need the signal from the board, its not actually powering or switching anything…
