Laser booking during an open evening

Hi guys,

I wanted to make a booking for the laser cutter for next Wednesday at 6:30pm but I’ve realized the Open Evening is at the same time. Can I still book it?
Also, I still don’t have shutter access - can I create the post of the booking without a host for now? (Assume there will be someone in at that time already!)

Hi Cristina,

No worries! Absolutely no problem, you can use the Makerspace during an Open Evening!

I put a booking down for the OE and added your name to the laser. Feel free to edit the time to your liking.

To answer the other part of your question…It would be a bad idea to create a calendar entry without a host specified, because members may assume access, only to find that the shutter is down.
