Laser cutter being a little intermittent

Hello @lasertechs - the laser cutter this morning was behaving a little unusually. Firstly it wasn’t homing when switched on. Switching off and on again a couple of times sorted it. Then job control thought the cabinet was open when it wasn’t. Holding the top down meant it registered as closed and I could make the cut, but clearly something is a little off.

Tool control interrupts the lid… so my guess is it could be the issue, the relay in tool control on the cnc was sometimes failing… try signing in/out of tool control. That one works best by putting your fob on top…

Hi @asander1 actually pushing the lid down on the left seems to be the solution.

Interesting, we had one of the magnets fail…

This right one!

I’ll replace the left one later today as it is very likely on its way out!
