I’d like to kick start our social media presence. As well as publicising our open nights it would be great to post about some of our makers and your projects. The idea is to show how open and friendly a place we are as well as highlighting the range of people, projects and equipment.
I’m thinking of a few project photos and I’ll help write a couple of paragraphs highlighting the equipment used in the space. I’ll start with myself in the next couple of days - but any willing volunteers??
I’ll then move on to less-willing volunteers - so watch out those who know me as I will start badgering you!
Also, does anyone have any recent photos taken at SLMS that they are willing for me to post? (I’ll credit you of course). I’m not a good photographer - but I know we have some professionals as members…
hey team, I’m happy to take some good photos of people and their projects. It might be good to try and get some people together in a day, to make this more efficient.
Definitely recommend doing photos ad-hoc. There are people in the space most of the time doing interesting projects, so doesn’t really need to be planned.
