Is it possible to pause my membership? I still like the idea of being involved with the space but in the 10 months since I’ve joined I think I’ve found time to come down about 5 times (and 0 in the last 3 months).
Sure
Just log in at https://members.southlondonmakerspace.org/ and go to Direct Debit where you can cancel your subscription. When you want to come back, just go to the same place and create a new subscription.
Your permissions and Discourse account will remain the same, so you don’t need to do anything else.
Thanks Tom
Hopefully will be back soon!
Your permissions remain the same for when you come back (at the moment). But you will loose access to members only parts of the Forum until you rejoin.
Hi, I was about to start a thread on the same topic and then saw this. I joined on the paid plan about a month ago and I have yet to even visit the centre because of some things going on in personal life. I would like to use the membership and I wanted to pause it for a time because a lot of things are uncertain in my life right now. I am even considering living abroad for a while, so there is a lot of uncertainty right now, so I would have liked to pause the subscription. But I couldn’t see a pause option in the account, so I selected to cancel the direct debit. I hope I can join again.
Thank you.
Ryan
You can rejoin anytime, I think. Take care!
Thank you.
