Portable Stick Welder

Hello friends!
I have a friend with a broken bracket in his van that he’d like me to weld.

I noticed on top of the MIG welder, there’s a little portable stick welder. Is that allowed to be taken out of the space to use just at the front? (just in the little car-access space in front of it, i’m not taking it home!)

And do you know where the electrodes for it are? I haven’t been able to find them today.

I’m not opposed if we source a movable curtain and can limit public exposure to zero. Would need director sign off.

Yeah, that sounds like a lot of hassle. I understand the implications now that you spelled them out, I hadn’t thought of the liability angle.

I’ll find another way :grin:
