Rexon belt sander needs new disc / need more mitre bond glue

Heyo,

Happy to give changing the disc a shot, do we have spare discs? Belt looks fine but disc is 100% gone

Do we have a secret stash of mitre glue anywhere? We have plenty of activator but no glue as far as I can see

I took the time to strip the disc today. Would be great idea to glue some velcro hooks, which it’s now ready to receive.

I saw thin, medium and thick CA glue stored with Lathe gear.

I don’t think we have any, if there are, they’ll be with all the other sandpaper.

I’ll speak to the other woodtechs about whether we’ll supply the woodshop with ca glue or if it’s the same as finishes. You bring when you need it and leave it at the space if you want to donate it.

I notice that there’s a strong preference for Axminsters quality products in the woodshop.

@directors could we possibly get some hooks for our disc sander?

We could!? It is up to the @woodtechs to figure out what they need for the area and if its above the general consumables (£50) ask for budget for it - so I will leave it to them to tell us what to get!
