SLMS Exhibition idea?

Has the space ever hosted an exhibition of what the makers have made? With the Gorilla not too far off completion, a beautiful hand made chair and guitar to a Comic Con storm trouper helmet representing just a fraction of what the space has made possible to be made. Would an exhibition of what we have collectively made float anyone’s boat maybe lasting a weekend or a whole week in the Clean Room?

We could create some short bios and description of each contributors highlighting their work and upload them to the SLMS website, additionally we could also maybe as an idea link it with the Artist Open House network?

Yes, we’ve had a few maker festivals. We had one earlier this year where makers can show off their creations and invite members of the public to get involved.

We have a whole subcagetory for the one we do yearly and you can see the various parts to it:
