Sunday 18th Dec: Make Wooden Knitting Needles and a Circular Scarf

The next craft along takes place on Sunday 18th December. You are invited to come along and learn to make your own hand carved wooden knitting needles.

Workshop structure:

12pm: Refreshments.

12:30pm: Carving Knitting Needles/sanding/waxing Demo.

12:45pm: Create your own knitting needles.

13.30pm Once you have beautifully carved and waxed needles learn how to make a simple circle scarf.

There is a suggested donation of £5 to cover materials for the session.

Oh and a few of the attendees were interested in a regular knitting and knit repair group. Would anyone else be interested? In a regular group where you can work on hand knitting projects, and learn knitting repair techniques?

If I had a knitting project going at the time I would join in.

If there isn’t a group at the space I’ve seen some people at the effra social on the other side of brockwell park some evenings.
