The measuring part of the veritas sharpening system is missing

It’s this bit. Usually lives in the red drawers under the screws. Has anyone used or seen it lately?

@Destom showed me it yesterday with a snapped pointer part, telling he’s going to repair it. That might be the reason.

Yea I should be getting it back on Sunday depending on if I can learn inkscape

So made an acrylic one and it broke tapping this afternoon will try recreate Monday

Brian can access aluminium casting. I don’t know the process, but perhaps the acrylic piece could be used to cast from. Alternatively perhaps the original broken piece could be glued together and be used for making something for casting.

Have a pic of what broke?

Could be worth it to just buy a replacement

@giles uses a ply or mdf setup. I don’t think it needs to be complicated.

Fixed this Monday forgot to mention, let me know when it fails I have no idea how long a piece of plastic will last
