There’s ongoing work on tool control, so lathe exemplar serves as a test subject… Tool control box is bypassed, lathe is always on. Please keep it on emergency stops/switch off three phase power contactor when not in use.
May be we could print out a notice and pin in on the wall actually…
Yea, sorry, someone had bypassed tool control - we are working on remedying this… Should have posted… Obviously only those inducted can use it, please be safe while we get TC up again on the machine.

Damn, whoever bridged it clearly knows enough to know better. Messing with the power supply on machinery is how people get hurt, even if they LOTO. If there wasn’t a legit reason they should be ashamed.
If this has happened before, perhaps need to make it clear that interference with TC is a serious criminal offence. This kind of interference would amount to criminal damage if deliberate and unauthorised and there is not some valid reason. It would be a shame to have to be so heavy handed because of one irresponsible member. Anyone doing that knows they are being naughty - so that won’t deter them, criminal liability might.
