Wood turning area in arch 2

Hi guys,

I don’t want to cause mayhem, but i’ve been off the space for some days and I’m wondering what the arch 2 status is and if we can use the wood turning area from next week.

Hey Federico, we need to fix the lathe bench properly . Wood lathe techs are on this, give us a week or so…

After rebuilding the lathe I think the overload relay needs adjusting let me know so if it is a bit twitchy, keeps stopping when you work it hard

I’ve just discussed it with Mark, the big CNC cannot be used until the door is built. The fun time needs to wait…

Any news on the wood lathe bench? Can it be used as is for small “between centers” turning practices?

Compared to the induction piece it should be fine but nothing heavy and irregular yet! I am still outside of London, can’t do anything!
