Arch 2 - Imagining the Space Session 1 - Sunday 13th March 2022 12:00 till 17:00

That’s an unreasonable stretch, if noone does anything it’ll just lay there dead like anything in MS that had no interest.

Woodshop has been agreed though? Its the second part of the arch were talking about.

I am up for planning a meeting about this, we still have plenty of time before the Arch2 works finish and moving will realistically need a few events over some time, so people with insight and understanding have time to talk.

The metal in Arch1 looks good! Have metal techs agreed? That’d be step forward, wouldn’t it?

Yes that is correct! We just need to commit to the layout if the rest of the space… and the old wood / messy rooms. I think everyone agreed to leave the clean room as-is.

I am happy to help with a planning meeting as well…

Let’s do it on the next MM to have more people in the conversation about it?

Sounds good - this and the Techs should be top on the agenda in my view…

I was thinking to create a model of both Archs so we can better visualise both spaces and have a better hope to come to a decision. What do you think?

I meant a physical model made from 2D planes :upside_down_face::wink: my 3D skills are still on the making  I am still old school

Do we have an A3 printer at the space? @Julia

Hi, no only a4

Ok no problem, I’ll print it somewhere no worries… What are the standard dimensions of the laser ply sheets? I can’t see the materials list on the website shop. “No products were found matching your selection”

600*400 is what we have in stock

2D plane model in the making, almost done  Have to burn it and assemble it another day though. Do we have a list somewhere of all desired machinery for the archs? #letsgetarchsdone :grimacing:

If you scroll, you can find some of the proposals and can extract some, not all, info from them.

Yeah I was thinking to do that just was hoping someone already compiled a whole list.

I’d be happy to get my 3D model up to speed. It’s what we built Arch 1 off, and is made in Revit, which is great for on-the-fly prototyping.

I already have the bones of Arch 2 in there correctly. Just need to put the dividing wall, CNC etc in.

Cool! You have to show me this Revit, I need to learn some 3D stuff.

You’ll need a spare £3000 or something stupid like that. Professional architect’s software
